Description
This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Repairing Offices & Break Area in buildings 20370 & 20379. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements. 2. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: *Users will remove furniture. B20370 Office 1 a. Demolition 1. Contractor must demo flooring, prep for new. 2. Contractor must demo/remove drain vent pipes 3. Contractor must abate window, prep for new window. 4. Contractor must demo/remove existing split system heating/cooling unit, prep area for new unit. 5. Contractor must demo/remove existing drywall, prep area for new. 6. Contractor must demo/remove cove base and prep for new. 7. Contractor must demo/remove existing door & frame, prep area for new. 8. Contractor must demo/remove ceiling grid and tile prep for new. 9. Contractor must remove and save for reinstallation of all smoke/heat detectors. 10. Contractor must demo/remove HVAC supply/return grills prep for new in same location. 11. Contractor must demo/remove 2x4 light fixtures prep for new in same location. b. Construction 1. Contractor must cap floor drains 2. Contractor must provide and install new window, window to match buildings existing replaced windows. 3. Contractor must provide and install new door and frame, door to include window similar to door being demo'd. 4. Contractor must provide and install new 5/8" drywall, fur out exterior wall only. Tape/texture/paint. 5. Contractor must paint door frames. 6. Contractor must provide and install new light switches, receptacles and cover plates, at locations of existing switches and receptacles. 7. Contractor must provide and install new heating/cooling unit, (not a split system). 8. Contractor must provide and install new flooring carpet tile. Include necessary transition strips. 9. Contractor must provide and install new base cove. 10. Contractor must provide and install new ceiling grid and tiles at same height/location as demo'd ceiling. 11. Contractor must provide and install new 2x4 LED direct/indirect light fixtures at same location as removed fixtures. 12. Contractor must provide and install new HVAC supply/return grills at same locations. 13. Contractor must install existing smoke/heat detector Office 2 a. Demolition 1. Contractor must demo/remove existing door & frame, prep area for new. 5. Contractor must demo/remove existing lighting. 6. Contractor must demo/remove fan frame prep for CMU wall repair. 7. Contractor must remove and save for reinstallation of all smoke/heat detectors. 8. Contractor must prep floor for installation of new carpet tile, floor scales to remain. b. Construction 1. Contractor must cap floor drains 2. Contractor must provide and install new window, window to match buildings existing replaced windows. 3. Contractor must provide and install new exterior door and frame. Key to match building. 4. Contractor must repair CMU block wall at fan opening. 5. Contractor must provide and install new 5/8" drywall, fur out walls as necessary. Tape/texture/paint. 6. Contractor must paint door and frames to match building exterior doors. 7. Contractor must provide and install new receptacles, data and phone lines (three walls). 1 duplex on north & south walls 1 quadplex on east wall. Provide and install new light switches and cover plates, at locations of existing switches. 8. Contractor must provide and install new heating/cooling unit, (not a split system). 9. Contractor must provide and install new flooring carpet tile. Include necessary transition strips. 10. Contractor must provide and install new base cove. 11. Contractor must provide and install new ceiling grid and tiles at 8'-0" 12. Contractor must provide and install new 2x4 LED direct/indirect light fixtures. 13. Contractor must provide and install new HVAC supply/return grills. 14. Contractor must install existing smoke/heat detector.   B20379 Break Room -Users will remove furniture. a. Demolition 1. Contractor must flooring, prep for new. 2. Contractor must demo/remove cove base and prep for new. 3. Contractor must demo/remove ceiling grid and tile prep for new. 4. Contractor must remove and save for reinstallation of all smoke/heat detectors. 5. Contractor must demo/remove HVAC supply/return grills prep for new in same location. 6. Contractor must demo/remove 2x4 light fixtures prep for new in same location. 7. Contractor must demo/remove break room cabinetry, save counter/sink/garbage disposal for reuse. 8. Contractor must patch and repair all walls and trim including door frames, prep for paint. c. Construction 1. Contractor must paint all walls and trim including door frames and painted windows. 2. Contractor must provide and install new flooring rolled carpet where carpet was previously located. LVT/Marmolium (or approved equal) where tile was previously located. Include necessary transition strips. 3. Contractor must provide and install new base cove. 4. Contractor must provide and install new break room cabinetry with same layout to existing, install saved for reuse counter/sink/garbage disposal. 5. Contractor must provide and install new commercial vent hood (guardian brand or approved equal, include all necessary components for proper installation. 6. Contractor must provide and install new ceiling grid and tiles at same height/location as demo'd ceiling. 7. Contractor must provide and install new 2x4 LED direct/indirect light fixtures at same location as removed fixtures. 8. Contractor must install existing smoke/heat detector.
