Description
This is not a synopsis or solicitation and no contract will result from this notice. This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine potential sources and requirement specific information. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps (https://ww.fbo.gov) website for further information. Information will be utilized to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. Interested parties choosing to respond to this Request for Information (RFI) are cautioned that this RFI is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) Responses for this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the US Government to form a binding contract. Responses to the Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. Not responding to this Sources Sought notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation; if one is issued. However, interested parties are highly encouraged to respond to this notice if capable. The 766 Specialized Contracting Squadron is conduction market research to determine interest in a firm-fixed price type contract for a Complete Mobile Merlin SS200TI Aircraft Bird strike Avoidance Radar System, USAF Standard, brand name or equal, for installation on Wake Island. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511. We are seeking information on companies and products capable to fulfill our requirement. 1. Company Information: - Name - Address - Telephone number - Point of Contact names - Email addresses - Cage Code 2. Recommendations for use of alternative NAICS code. 3. Suggestions for alternate brand name or equal products. *** All questions regarding this sources sought shall be submitted in writing via email.Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. One (1) Horizontal Surveillance Radar (HSR) with Doppler processing and 7 degree tilt ii. One (1) Vertical Scanning Radar (VSR) Electronics i. Two (2) Radar signal digitization and processing computers ii. MERLIN SQL Datasystem for remote displays, real-time risk analysis and web display service iii. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to support 30 minutes of battery operation iv. Network switch and hub v. Web relay for remote control vi. Ancillary electronics including GPS/Compass Three (3) user displays/computers with 22 inch monitors (one at system, two remote) i. Custom web-based user MERLIN Advisor risk alerting displays USAF ATTLA-compliant trailer platform and environmental controlled equipment enclosure i. All equipment will be mounted on the trailer platform ii.
