- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Falls Church, VA intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to World Wildlife Fund, Inc., Washington, DC. This requirement is for a qualified contractor to work with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Combating Wildlife Trafficking Strategy and Partnerships Branch to produce an in depth assessment of illegal wildlife trade for species imported into the United States and native species illegally harvested for export. With over 40 years of experience in the investigation of wildlife trade patterns and markets, World Wildlife Fund Inc., has the expertise and experience to produce comprehensive analysis on wildlife trafficking in the time frame needed. Wildlife Fund Inc., also have a deep understanding of global wildlife trade. TRAFFIC, a joint program of the World Wildlife Fund produces the only journal devoted exclusively to wildlife trade issues, providing news on relevant legislation, investigations and seizures. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 813312. The size standard is $15 Million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by 8/29/2018. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
