- Trash Truck Specifications Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (SF-1449) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336212. All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: FURNISH AND INSTALL ONE (1) AMREP 2018 HARDOX OR LIKE, FRONT LOADER FULL PUSH OUT AMHFLPO-21 MOUNTED ON YOUR 3-AXLE. Delivery: 180 Days After Receipt of Order Award shall be made to the quoter whose quotation is the lowest priced, technically acceptable quotation. Technically acceptable means that the Contractor provides equipment that meets the requirements specified in the Trash Truck Specifications. The Forest Service intends to evaluate quotes and issue a contract based on the initial quotes received. Therefore, the Contractor's initial quote should contain the Contractor's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. Submissions must include: 1. Technical Acceptability. Documentation that confirms the contractor is capable of meeting the equipment specifications. Contractors must provide manufacturer specifications and warranty information for the proposed equipment. 2. Price. Include price information for all line items. Equipment must be new; used or remanufactured equipment would not meet technical specifications. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items 2. FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items Offerors must complete annual representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov in accordance with FAR 52.212-3, "Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items." If paragraph (j) of the provision is applicable, a written submission is required. The following contract clauses apply to this acquisition: • FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items • FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Submission shall be received not later than Friday, August 31, 2018 at 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo, CA 94592.
