Description

LCAC CAMS I-O Device Justification and Approval redacted. Electronics Supply Commercial HUBZONE Sole Source with UID with FOB Destination document. The Government intends to award on a HubZone sole source basis to United Electronics Industries (UEI) Services LLC, 8264 Sub Base Suite 3, St. Thomas, VI 00802 for commercially available parts for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Navigation (C4N) Systems project. This acquisition is for thirteen (13) commercially available CAMS I/O Units P/N UIE-CAMS that will be used in the LCAC C4N System Baseline Configuration 4 (SBC4) Control, Alarm, and Monitoring System (CAMS). The Government's minimum needs have been verified by the certifying technical and requirements personnel. The total estimated amount of this acquisition is $443,000.00. A firm-fixed-price commercial item order is anticipated using FY 2018 Ship Construction Navy (SCN) funds. Delivery will be to NSWC PCD four (4) weeks after award. 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) - Authorized or Required by Statute, FAR 6.302-5(b)(5) Sole source awards under the HUBZone Act of 1997-15 U.S.C. 657a. Per attached clauses and redacted justification.
