- SF1442 - Solicitation 177th Fighter Wing Vicinity Maps AQRC172008 Drawings, May 15, 2018 AQRC172008 Specifications, May 15, 2018 This solicitation is for the 177 th Fighter Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Performance is within the Munitions Storage Area at the 177 FW. Buildings 260 and 443 are above ground earthen berm covered munitions storage igloos and maintenance facilities. Scope of work for this project consists of repair work on the blast resistant doors at bldg. 260 and bldg. 443; their opening systems, operators, and controls; and surrounding structural steel and concrete building components. Bldg. 260 was constructed in 1974. The building is divided into 12 storage cells containing 24 sets of exterior blast resistant steel double doors. The existing condition of these doors are beyond repair. Replacement of existing doors in Bldg. 260, Munitions Storage Facility, is required, but not included in this scope of work. Building 443 is a newer facility that has two 16' blast resistant sliding bay steel doors which are operated by an overhead chain pulley system. All work in this project is within a secure of area of the installation boundaries and requires additional safety briefings, contractor background investigation checks, government supplied escorts, and coordination around active government mission requirements. Work to be performed under this Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 with a small business size standard of $36,500,000 million. Solicitation W912KN-18-R-600 will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) using the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set aside. Project Magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000 in accordance with DFARS 236.204(iii). Period of Performance will be 180 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Pre-Bid Conference & Site Visit: A Pre-Bid Conference & Site Visit will be conducted at the 177 th Fighter Wing, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Date, Time, Location, and Instructions for attending are posted in Section 00100 of the SF1442. Pre-Registration is required by all interested offerors in order to attend the Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit. Bid Submission: Bid Submission Information is included in Section 00100 of the SF1442. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the Contracting Office. Email and facsimile bids will not be accepted. Bidders are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure that bids are received on time. Late Bids will Not be accepted. Bid Opening: Full Bid Opening Details, including instructions for attending, are included in Section 00100 of the SF1442. A Public Bid Opening will be conducted at the 177 th Fighter Wing, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. All interested offerors and their major subcontractors are encouraged to attend the Bid Opening. Pre-Registration is required by all interested offerors in order to attend the Bid Opening. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to the 177 th Fighter Wing Contracting Office. Do Not submit questions or Requests for Information (RFI) directly to the A&E firm of Engineering Department.
