SMALL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. Name: Predictive Maintenance Services Project Overview: The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) plans to award a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract for "Predictive Maintenance" Service to the Capitol Power Plant (CPP), located at 25 E St SE, Washington, DC 20003. The Capitol Power Plant (CPP), commissioned in 1909, is a District Heating and Cooling Plant that generates utility steam and chilled water for the heating and cooling of various Buildings throughout the Capitol Hill Campus. The West Refrigeration Plant (WRP) and West Refrigeration Plant Expansion (WRPE) provides chilled water utilized for Capitol complex cooling of the House, Senate, Capitol, Library of Congress, and other facilities. The WRP was built in the 1970's and the WRPE was an addition, completed in 2007. This consist of 9 Chillers and all equipment in support of this Chilled Water Production. Three-(3) 6ooo Ton being the oldest are in phase out period. Three (3) 5400 ton York chillers installed 2007, two (2) 2500 Ton York Chillers installed The WRP and WRPE operated in a primary secondary configuration with approximately 40,000 tons of chilled water capacity. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, transportation, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment; and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance, and all reports submitted per schedule for this contract. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pre-quotation questions are due by 10:00 pm ET August 30, 2018. All questions regarding the solicitation are due in writing to the Contracting Officer, via email at dfuqua@aoc.gov, Questions received after this time may not be answered. VERBAL QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED OR ACCEPTED ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The due date for receipt of quotation is September 6, 2018, by 10:00 p.m. (ET) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The contract term shall have an estimated Base year from Date of Award through July 31, 2019 plus four one year options with an optional six month extension. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The attached details the requirement for the Window Cleaning Service along with information on how to submit the quote.
