Description

Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition The 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB, MO hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE to BAE Systems Electronic Systems, 95 Canal Street, Nashua NH 03064, to provide hardware and software to support data analysis collection software services. This analysis is required to prepare the fielding recommendations of Special Programs for the B-2 Aircraft. Contractor shall provide the necessary hardware and software to support previously purchased data analysis collection hardware and software used on test flights. The software is within the Adaptable Communication Suite (ACS) and is proprietary to BAE Systems. BAE Systems is also the developer of the software. These items are required to process the data. BAE Systems also holds the patents on this software. Period of Performance: 26 September 2018 - 25 September 2019 Place of Performance: Whiteman AFB, MO. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
