Description

The NAVSUP Fleet and Logistics Center, San Diego, Contracting Department intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price service contract on other than full and open competition basis. The requirement is for the contractor to provide Vocational Education Programs to prisoners at the Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar. Draft Statement of Work and Sole Source Justification and Approval is attached. The applicable NAICS code is 611210 with business size of $20.5M. Product Service Code is U010. The anticipated period of performance is one-year from date of award. No solicitation currently exists. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any interested contractor capable of providing this requirement is invited to submit, not later than 10:00AM San Diego, California time on 22 August 2018, a written notification or capability statement to Norman Florida, Contract Specialist (CS), via email to address norman.florida@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the anticipated contract will be based upon the responses received and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
