- Tech Exhibit B - Contract Drawings Tech Exhibit A - Specifications Appendix A Solicitation Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to reconstruct Mohawk Rd. from Cobra Loop to Clarke Rd on Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns only; no large business bids will be accepted for this procurement. NAICS 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, (Size Standard $36.5 Million) will be used for this procurement. The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX180016 01/05/2018 TX16 Superseded General Decision Number: TX20170016 State: Texas Construction Types: Heavy and Highway Counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bastrop, Bell, Bexar, Brazos, Burleson, Caldwell, Comal, Coryell, Guadalupe, Hays, Kendall, Lampasas, McLennan, Medina, Robertson, Travis, Williamson and Wilson Counties in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $5,000,000.00 whichever is less. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. A site visit will be conducted for this procurement on a 24 August 2018 at 9:00 A.M. CST. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. Bid opening will be conducted on September 17, 2018 at 2:00 P.M., please refer to solicitation for location. Contract performance period will be 255 days after notice to proceed is issued. The technical exhibits will be available for inspection without charge thru the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Upon the posting of this solicitation, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to receive a government contract award. Bidders shall register in SAM as well at www.sam.gov.
