- Amendment 0007 The project consists of maintenance dredging the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) channel, settling basins, and advance maintenance areas in the waters of Sawpit Creek, the Amelia River, and Nassau Sound. The majority of the excavated material will be placed in the Amelia Island State Park beach disposal site. The pumping distance between dredging areas and beach placement ranges from 4.0 miles to 1.5 miles. The remainder of the material is not beach compatible and will be placed upland in DMMA DU-2 which lies adjacent to the dredging area. The Total Estimated Period of Performance is 256 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. The Estimated Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. All responsible small business offerors are encouraged to participate. The NAICS Code 237990, size standard $27.5 million. The invitation for bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 17 July 2018 and bids will be due on or about 23 August 2018. The IFB will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (Fed Biz Opps) at https://www.fbo.gov. In order to receive notification of any amendments, firms must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on the Fed Biz Opps website.
