- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VETERANS INTEGRATED SERVICE NETWORK (VISN) 16 MICHAEL E. DEBAKEY VA MEDICAL CENTER (VAMC), HOUSTON, TEXAS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 36C25618U0293 BACKGROUND: The Houston VAMC has a requirement for the following brand name supplies: Request is for medication filling technology (Optifill Cabinet) that includes a restocking computer, canister validation device and counting device. Included with the request is a recalibration kit and field training on use of the calibration kit. This request will be part of the medication dispensing system already used by the Outpatient Pharmacy (Optifill Machine). Description are itemized below: -PPS Integrated FastFill 54 - Base Unit -FF54 Implementation Fees -FF54 Canister Validator -Canister Recalibration Component Kit -On-Site Canister Recalibration Training REQUESTED RESPONSES: The intent of this Request for Information is to establish sources in order to define the procurement strategy. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: Please respond to this RFI if you are capable of providing the brand name products listed in the background section above. In the response please cite business size status. Are you the manufacturer or distributor of the items being referenced above (or equivalent product/solution)? Does your company have an FSS contract with GSA or the NAC? If so, please provide the contract type and number. Please respond to this RFI if you are capable of providing supplies that can be determined EQUIVALENT to the products listed in the in the background section above. Please provide details on proposed EQUIVALENT products such as Manufacturer Name, Part Number, and Description.
