- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana is planning to issue a solicitation through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) with the intent to award a 100% small business set aside competitive firm-fixed priced contract for Protestant Religious Education Coordinator Services in support of the United States Garrison Fort Polk Religious Support Office. The contactor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Protestant Religious Education Coordinator for the Fort Polk Protestant Community. Religious Education for Fort Polk Chapel Protestant Community. Services include the mission of the Chaplain's program is to provide for Essential Elements of Religion (EER) to include worship services for all assigned Soldiers, Civilians, and Family Members. The primary goal of the religious education program is to provide basic religious understanding through Bible studies, doctrinal studies and life application studies for children, youth and adults within the garrison. The projected Period of Performance is for a base year of 29 September 2018 to 28 September 2019 with two (2) - 12 month option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 813110. A solicitation will be issued on or about 21 August 2018 with an offer due date on or about 07 September 2018. Please note that this notice does NOT constitute a Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. The solicitation and any/all amendments will be posted and available for view and download through the FedBiz Ops website at https://www.fbo.gov/ as no paper copies will be issued. It is incumbent upon all interested parties to review the aforementioned site on a regular basis for any updates/amendments to the solicitation, review their Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE) and be registered as active in the System for Award Management (SAM) system. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract. FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures will be used for this procurement.
