The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of potential contractors The Lebanon Veteran Affairs Medical Center Located at 1700 South Lincoln Ave Lebanon, PA 17042 is looking to purchase replacement of two (2) Mettler-Toledo Balance Prescription units. a. Common Nomenclature (commercial description): Analytical Scale, Balance Prescription Scale b. Kind of material (i.e., type, grade, alternatives, etc.): Metal, electrical, plastic, motor c. Electrical Data (i.e., 110 v, 60 Hz, 3 Ph, etc.): 3-prong standard wall outlet is needed, 120V, 10 amp d. Dimensions, size, capacity: Requirements include: Plastic enclosure with removable side Digital touch screen display Grid for spilled substances Follows USP 797 standards Smallest net weight 100 mg Maximum weight 200 g Capacity 220 g Readability 0.01 mg Small footprint for unit of less than 18 e. Principles of operation: Scale measures ingredients for IV compounding. f. Restrictive environmental conditions: N/A g. Intended use: Scale measures ingredients for IV compounding. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
