- Notice of Proposed Contract Action This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The award is to be a Firm-Fixed Price contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), " Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available." The contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available: Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, Inc., a large business, located at 425 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ, 08854, the only known source capable of meeting the requirement. The Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) located at Wright-Patterson AFB requires 10 4MM Navigational Bi-Direct Catheters (BN7TCDF4L). The NAICS code for this requirement is 339112, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
