- Page 1 of 2 SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: The SAO Central Contracting Office, 212 3RD Avenue South, Suite 29, Minneapolis, MN 55401, is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide Centrella Smart + Beds in support of the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan. This announcement is issued for informational planning purposes only and is not a request for proposal or announcement of a solicitation. Submitting information for this announcement is voluntary and VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted because of this notice. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. The purpose of this market research is to identify capable sources that are both experienced and qualified to provide Centrella Smart+ Bed Model #255 base package, Second LCD Touchscreen, Nurse Call in Siderail, Accessory Outlet and SafeView with IllumiGuide. Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan Requires: 29 Centrella Smart + Bed, Model #255 base package plus Second LCD Touchscreen, Nurse Call in Siderail, Accessory Outlet and SafeView with IllumiGuide. The contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for each of the 29 beds. The warranty shall include repair service for the purchased devices. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339113 with a size standard of 750 employees. Based on this information, please indicate whether your company would be a Large or Small Business and have a socio-economic designation as a small business, VOSB or SDVOSB. Capabilities Statement and Documentation: Firms/Companies are invited to provide their capabilities, experience and knowledge in providing this product and services. Sources are asked to provide information to demonstrate their answers to the above items. In addition to a Capability Statement which includes the above information, submissions can include brochures, diagrams, etc. as attachments. Requested Information from Interested Vendors Qualified companies are encouraged to respond. Responses should provide the following information in response to this source sought announcement: Business name and address; Name of company representative and their business title; Nature of business, pertinent details and experience; Business size as it relates to the NAICS code 339113 (and other recommended NACIS codes as applicable) and associated SBA size standard; 750 employees; If your small business fits into a socioeconomic category, please indicate the socioeconomic category/categories. ***If identifying as a Veteran-owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), please indicate if your company is certified and registered in Vetbiz; https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ Does the vendor hold a current FSS contract for Centrella Smart + Beds and accessories? If so, please state the contract number. Is the vendor an authorized distributor of Centrella Smart + Beds and accessories?
