- This is a notice of intent of The Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center, 420 N. James Rd., Columbus, OH 43219 to negotiate sole source with Buffalo Supply Inc. to supply the Department of Veterans Affairs with: Item Information STERIS 3085 SP Battery Powered General Surgical Table with X-Ray Tops 1 EA STD ACC PKG 3 IN ARMBOARD PAD EXTRA LONG STRAP 1 EA INSPECTAND START-UP 3085 TABLE 1 JB DECONTAMINATE AND REMOVE SURGICAL TABLE TRADE-IN 1 JB This equipment is for use at the Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center. The equipment requested will help replace broken equipment in The Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center. The current equipment in the Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center has been certified that it is no longer serviceable. The Government believes that only one manufacturer can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with their SB Distributor on schedule 65IIA and SIN A-8B, one source, under the authority of Title 40 USC 501, Services for Executive Agencies; and Section 803 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2002 (PL 107-107) and implemented by FAR 8.405-6. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 3PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
