- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with BioFire Diagnostics, Inc., 390 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT, 84108 for the procurement of a Service Agreement. The service agreement is for four FilmArray 2.0 Analyzers e located at the VA Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. BioFire Diagnostics is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the pathology equipment. NAICS 811219 applies to this acquisition; with a size standard of $20.5 M. The proposed contract action is for a twelve (12) month base with the possibility of four one-year options, for the service agreements for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interest persons may identify their capabilities in this requirement no later than 10:00 a.m. ET, July 19, 2018 to: lori.miller@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the Government.
