- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide an indefinite quantity of Chemical Vegetation Control Services for unwanted vegetation including native, non-native invasive species, poisonous plants, right-of-way vegetation and vegetation removal for wildlife habitat improvement. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to execute the Chemical Vegetation Control Services for each BPA Call under this agreement. The period of performance of the resulting agreement will be a period of 12 months from the date of award. In addition, the Government may exercise two (2) optional years with the same scope of services. Each option year shall have a 12- month period of performance. The BPA Master Limit is $250,000; where no single BPA Call may not exceed $25,000 in total cost. The intent of this Blanket Purchase Agreement is to provide the government with a cost-effective way to support U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' projects throughout New England. This solicitation will be available on or about 31-JULY-2018. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS RELEASED. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self-register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
