Description
CELDi PWS Center for Excellence in Logistics and Distribution (CELDi) membership renewal with a period of performance of September 15, 2018 - September 14, 2019. DLA is looking to renew its partnership and membership with: Center for Excellence in Logistics and Distribution University of Arkansas Department of Industrical Engineer 4207 Bell Engineer Center Fayetteville, AR 72701 In maintaining a working relationship with CELDi, DLA has the means to establish or maintain an essential engineering, research, or development capability that is provided by an educational or other nonprofit institution or a federally funded research and development center. This will allow DLA to maintain an essential capability for theoretical analyses, exploratory studies, or experiments in the field of logistics and distribution. In addition, this will enable DLA to establish or maintain an essential capability for engineering or developmental work calling for the practical application of investigative findings and theories of a scientific or technical nature. In addition, DLA will have access to students and potential employees that will have been trained and be familiar with the problems and approaches that are unique to logistics with the defense industry. Award will be made on the basis of lowest price, technically acceptable (LPTA). In order to be determined technicall acceptable, quoted products must meet the minimum technical requirements identified. In order to be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must demonstrate proof that it is quoting the required CEDLi membership as detailed above. In addition to a price quote and product specifications, the following shall be provided: taxpayer identification number (TIN), Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. Companies doing business w ith the Federal Government are required to use the System for Award Management (SAM). In order to be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, vendors must have an active SAM registration. The website to register, update, or re-activate an account at SAM is https://sam.gov. All questions and requests for information regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ) must be received NO LATER THAN close of business two business days prior to the quote due date in order to minimize the need to extend the closing date. All quotes must be submitted through email to Elizabeth.Napolitano@dla.mil. Only email quotes received by the soliciting closing date and time will be accepted.
