Description
Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing TONREFII: M3 Auto Refractor/Keratometer/NCT, on-site training, and service manuals. These are for the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Verify that the business is under 333314 of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), Verification of Size Standard under the NAICS, Business name, address, Point of Contact, and if the business has verification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at Daniel.Johnson44@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 12:00 P.M. (EST) on Friday, July 20, 2017. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to Daniel.Johnson44@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Statement of Need for: Marco M3 TonorefII Autorefractor/Keratometer Non-Contact Tonometer Introduction The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, Eye Clinic has determined the need to purchase Marco (TONOREFII) M3/TONOREFII ARK/Tonometer. Justification: The Marco M3 TonorefII/ARK Tonometer replaces both of the clinics old outdated Auto Refractors which are starting to fail and repairing will be an issue. The unit is used daily to asses need for spectacles, provides Non-Contact Tonometry and Auto Keratometry. Requirements: One (1) EA, TONREFII: M3 Auto Refractor/Automatic Keratometer/Non-Contract Tonometry On-site Training Two (2) EA, Service Manuals Characteristics of product: Target consisting hot air balloon at the end of a road This target relaxes accommodation for more accurate results 1.5 Diopters of fog Reliability Index Numbers Numbers from 1-9 which appear after each reading on the printout which indicate the confidence level of reading. 1 lowest 9 highest Full automatic Eye Tracking System using three axes: Alignment, Tracking, and Focusing. Auto tracking and auto fire measurement recorded automatically Provides fast and accurate measurements of refractor power, corneal curvature, and (IOP) intraocular pressure Adjustable 5 inch color LCD monitor can be tilted for easy operation and to be viewed while standing APC (Automatic Pressure Control) provides a soft puff of air for accurate IOP measurements with increased patient comfort Pupil diameter and corneal size measurement Measurable Range Sphere -30D to + 25D Cylinder 0D to +- 12D Axis 0-180 degrees Axis takes 180 individual measurements at each meridian and averages them Integrates and communicates and is compatible with the Marco Auto Lensmeters and TRS/RT Automatic Refraction System Delivery: To be delivered to the eye clinic attention William Kowalski upon arrival to Wilkes Barre VMAC. Delivery accepted at VAMC Wilkes Barre, Warehouse, 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes Barre, PA 18711; Weekdays 8:00am 4:00pm, excluding any government holidays.
