- Sole Source Justification & Approval THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL Notice of Intent for Award: The 377 MSG/PKA intends to award a sole source purchase order to General Electric Aviation Systems, LLC. for the purchase of troubleshooting and repair of the mishap investigation ground station (MIGS) system under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The FSC Code is J017, the NAICS Code is 811310 size standard is $7,500,000.00 General Electrics Aviation (GEA) mishap investigation ground station (MIGS) and all of its associated modules are sole source products, manufactured, owned, sold, distributed and supported by General Elctric Aviation, LLC. Interested vendors may identify their capability to respond to this requirement no later than 3:00 PM (MST) on 20 July 2018. Documentation submitted will not exceed two (2) pages and will be submitted electronically to the cognizant Contracting Officer listed below. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
