- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is requesting input from Industry for an open discussion session on "Recommendations to Reduce Burden and Gain Efficiencies". The goal is to gain insight from industry on the following questions: 1. Are there any contract requirements (to include reports or other deliverables), provisions/clauses, or regulations that are burdensome, or where the cost outweighs the benefit? 2. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve the following: a. Communication between the Government and Contractors b. Source Selections c. Discussions d. Debriefings e. The Acquisition Process f. Performance Management Reviews or other similar reviews of contractor performance with Contracting and Requiring Activity personnel 3. Any suggestions on how the Government could achieve cost savings through changes in the requirements, contract types or acquisition strategies? 4. Any suggestions on incentives for Contractor's besides monetary incentives? 5. If your company has experience delivering similar services to other branches of the military, is there anything they are doing that you would consider a best practice? 6.
