- This is a Special Notice of intent to procure port and docking services from Ambassador Services, Inc., for NOAA Ship Oregon II in Cape Canaveral, Florida on a sole-soure basis. The Government intends to acquire services using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures estimated not to exceed $21,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 488310. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available; however, other potential sources with the expertise and required capabilities may submit such data which demonstrates the requirements stated above. Submissions are due no later than 23 July 2018 at 3:00pm, CST. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Responses shall be faxed to Mariel Hughes at (228)769-9529) or e-mail Mariel.Hughes@noaa.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is the Government's belief that only Ambassador Services, Inc., can provide the expertise and deliverables as stated above. This procurement also requires contractors to complete the electronic representations and certifications at the SAM.gov website. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additonal information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: www.sam.gov in order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office. All offerors must also have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
