- Single Source Justification The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (PZIOA), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Aluma Tower Company, Inc., 1639 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Beach, FL 32960-3656, Cage Code:7W000, for Retrofit and Upgrade to Mobile Antenna Towers. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action which is supported by a Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 334220. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 1250 employees. Anticipated award date is 27 July 2018. The requirement will consist of: • Trailer Chassis Kit, Model Number: S812, P/N: 909750; 2 each • Grounding System, P/N: 800976; 2 each • Upgrade A-Frame Trailer (2016 trailer) into Gooseneck Tongue; P/N: 802120; 1 each • Upgrade and Retrofit A-Frame Trailer (2014 trailer) into Gooseneck Tongue; P/N: 301583; 1 each • Shipping from Eglin AFB, FL to Vero Beach, FL for upgrades and then return shipping back to Eglin AFB, FL; 2 each THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 1200 pm CST on 23 July 2018 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Questions shall be submitted electronically to Christy Cross at christy.cross.2@us.af.mil.
