- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Beckley, WV intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source, to JonesZylon Company P.O. Box 149 West Lafayette, OH 43845. The NAICS code is 333241. To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met through JonesZylon Company. This notice of intent it not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for JonesZylon Company. Other vendors who believe they can meet the above requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by August 8, 2018 12:00 P.M. (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply supplies or services that will comply with the requirements in a satisfactory manner. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size, and DUNS Number. Responses may be emailed to kchellis@bop.gov by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
