- GENERAL INFORMATION Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific intends to award a firm-fixed price, commercial contract to MGC Diagnostics LLC (a small business) to provide annual preventive maintenance and repair services for Government-owned Elite DL and Ultima PFX Pulmonary Function Analyzer equipment at the Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Wainwright, Alaska. This requirement is for an estimated period of performance from 15 August 2018 through 14 August 2019 Base Period and four (4) 1-year Option Periods. The scope of the requirement includes, but is not limited to: providing all labor, parts, material and travel, to repair and/or maintain the pulmonary system equipment in a fully functional condition in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Due to their proprietary technology, MGC Diagnostics LLC is the only vendor that will be able to service these machines as the Authorized Service Provider. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible Source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Although this requirement will be sole-sourced, the follow-on (base and four option periods) contract is anticipated to be awarded within the next 2 months. The applicable FSC/PSC is J065, and the NAICS code of this procurement is 811219; which has a size standard is $20.5 M. Since the intent is to procure these services on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov). Point of Contact: Ms. Tonja D.
