- Combined Synopsis Solicitation THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M218QNCNT0066 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Center for Operational Oceanographic Products (CO-OPS), Chesapeake, VA has a requirement for various quantities of RM Young sensors components to support environmental monitoring systems. This is a brand name requirement. The required delivery date is 45 days after receipt of the order for Lot I - Base Requirement. An option period to purchase additional quantitates is included as Lot II.
