This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-96. Responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. North American Industry Classification (NAICS): 115310 (Support Activities for Forestry): Size Standard is $7.5 Set Aside: 100% small business set-aside. General Information: The intent of this solicitation is to obtain quotes for the Bitterroot and Flathead National Forests Thinning and Fuels Reduction. See below for complete project description. PRE-BID MEETINGS: July 19, 2018 for the Bitterroot at 9 a.m. Bitterroot NF Supervisor's Office: Contact David Fox for info at (406)-821-1226 1801 N. 1st Hamilton, MT 59840 July 20th for the Flathead at 8 a.m. FNF Kalispell NF Supervisor's Office: Contact Karl Anderson at (406) 758-3535 650 Wolfpack Way Kalispell, MT 59901 IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE PROJECT WILL START EARLY AUGUST 2018 WITH A COMPLETIION DATE OF September 2019. This contract is for tree thinning, pruning/daylight thinning, stand improvement, slash treatment, hand piling, browse release, fuels reduction activities, fuels treatment activities, preparation work for burning, chipping, and related services on lands administered by the Bitterroot National Forest, and the Flathead National Forest. Except for those items identified herein as Government-furnished, the Contractor shall furnish everything necessary, including, but not limited to all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals to perform services under this contract. The Summary Information Chart, Silvicultural Summary Prescription and Maps will include specific information regarding the project worksite location and description, access to the areas, work items ordered, size of units and other information pertinent to each unit.
