- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for Project # 646-13-105, "MASTER WAYFINDING", at the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), University Drive C, Pittsburgh PA 15206 and 1010 Delafield Road Pittsburgh PA 15215. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All SDVOSB offerors must be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested parties should also register as such on the FBO website Any offeror not registered and verified with CVE or SAM at the time of bid submittal will be disqualified and their bid will be rejected. A VETS 4212 report must be complete and current: http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm. To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered a small business according the size standards relevant to NAICS 236220. The project will require the removal of all existing signage and installation of a new, complete signage system including support and anchor components; providing electrical power and data circuits to any and all illuminated signs; providing data circuits to smart signs; and all other work described in the Specifications and Drawings including, but not limited to, exterior signs, symbols and logos mounted on foundations, poles, fences and buildings. The period of performance is 540 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction cost is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov no later than June 28, 2018. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of the contractor to monitor the website for all notices, amendments, etc., regarding this solicitation. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not received by the contractor regarding the solicitation. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Subpart 14. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No additional information is available at this time.
