- The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), W. J. B. Dorn VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 6439 Garners Ferry Road in Columbia, South Carolina will be soliciting proposals for Renovate 4 South Operating Room, Building 100. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Renovation to the Fourth Floor, South Wing, of Building 100, at W. J. B. Dorn VA Medical Center. A Request for Proposal (RFP) 36C24718R0489 will be issued on or about June 27, 2018. The proposed action is advertised as Total Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 million. The classification code is Z2DA. Magnitude of project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-98 dated 5/31/2018. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. Firms must be registered in Veterans Information Page (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Default.aspx at the time of proposal submission. Also, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov.
