- The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement for asbestos floor tile abatement & replacement at Waukon, IA (UKN) VOR. Point of Contact: Tony Bryant, Contract Specialist 817 222-4178 tony.ctr.bryant@faa.gov The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified small business Roofing Contractors interested in providing offers for the work described below. General Statement of Work: UKN VOR: Provide all labor, materials, supervision and transportation to abate and replace asbestos floor tile at Waukon, IA VOR in accordance with the specifications that will be included with solicitation. 1. Contract performance time is 30 calendar days after NTP. 2. This procurement is a Small Business Set Aside. 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 562910 “ Remediation Services. 4. The Small Business Size Standard is $20.5 Million. 5. The rough order of magnitude for this proposed construction project is expected to be less than $50,000.00. 6. Site Visits are not mandatory, but may be requested. Information will be specified in the Request for Proposal. The Request for Proposal Package is expected to be available following close of public announcement. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 5:00 pm (CST) by June 20, 2018. Contractors must provide name of company, physical mailing address, e-mail address & telephone number. You may e-mail requests to Tony.CTR.Bryant@faa.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
