- This modification is to post questions received from Vendors and the associated answers. 1. Can the park bench be removed? Don't need to remove park bench. Not part of the scope. 2. Is there a stock pile area for the rock and fill? We can look into a proper stock pile area. The Corps of Engineers own 15 feet of land, starting from the sea wall. Corps of Engineers can negotiate additional area with City of Seattle. Temporary access area such as stock pile will need to be restored to original condition as stated in the contract solicitation. 3. Will there be a lay down yard for the trucks and equipment with temp fencing? Contractor will need to provide their own temporary fencing. 4. Where are the access points into the work site? East Ewing Park parking lot. The NRM folks may have additional info or input. 5. Are subcontractors allowed? Yes. Subcontractor are allowed. Subcontractors have the same security and specialty requirements as prime contractor, refer to contract solicitation. 6. Are there progress payments? No progress payments. The response date has been changed to Friday, 18 May 2018 at 11:00 AM (Pacific)
