Rio Grande National Forest: Fat Bear Wildlife Habitat and Timber Stand Improvement Project - Phase II (Unit 4) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1282AK18Q0034 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-97. This requirement is solicited as a Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns (Total Small Business Set-Aside) under NAICS code 115310, Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management Services with a U. S. Small Business Administration size standard of $19.0 million. This solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price contract for mastication/mulching of mainly Doug-fir and white fir <9" DBH on 124 acres of the Rio Grande National Forest.
