- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to purchase EDIFECS, Nessus Professional, Van Dyke Software, and Burp Suite Professional software and licenses by other than full and open competition, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements', as part of a GSA Schedule order. This is a special notice only and is NOT a request for competitive quotations or a formal solicitation. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to determine a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses may be submitted until 3:00 PM Eastern Time (EDT) on May 21, 2018 to Adam Forgione, Contracting Officer, at Adam.Forgione@cms.hhs.gov, and Allisan Hafner, Contract Specialist, at Allisan.Hafner@cms.hhs.gov. No telephone requests will be honored.
