- Request for Quotation This Pre-solicitation notice is for Construction requirements resulting in a fixed price contract with a period of performance from 60 days after Notice to Proceed. This is a 100% Small Business set aside acquisition. The requirement is for Construction requirement for labor and materials needed to convert a storage room into a Secure Room compliant with Title 32, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 2001, Classified National Security Information for open storage of SECRET material to include: removal of shelving and installation of: electrical power and data-outlets, a new compliant door w/lock, a return air duct, fire-code compliant fixtures (i.e. strobes, sprinkler heads, alarms, etc.) if necessary, a standalone alarm system w/motion detection and keypad disable w/swipe entry and all necessary state and county permits where needed as per the Statement of Work. This acquisition is under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 238310 and a size standard of $15 Million. The Request for Quotation 1333MD18QNEEB0008 is being issued to convert a storage room into a Secure Room as provided in the attached scope. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System Award for Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov, under the appropriate NAICS. All offerors are required to register if they intend to visit the site may 21st. Details are in the solicitation.
