- Complete painting of the interior of the visitor center at Ulysses S. Grant National Historic site. Apply as many coats as necessary to ensure that the new paint covers the old paint. Approximately 60,000 square feet of painting is involved for the building. Scrape, brush, or sand to remove all loose and deteriorated paints from surfaces to be repainted on the exterior of the Barn (HS-3),(approximately 4400 Sq. Ft.), Ice House(HS-4)(approximately 400 Sq.Ft.) and Chicken House(HS-5)(approximately 750 Sq.Ft.). Properly dispose of all paint debris. Prime exposed wood areas and paint a minimum of 2 coats (only brush painting will be permitted)
