Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to supply 37,500 Gallons of #2 Off-Road (dyed) Diesel to the Dredge Goetz fleet at the Corps' Fountain City, WI service base. Bio-diesel and Bio-Diesel blends are NOT acceptable. Delivery will occur on Friday, May 18 between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Fuel will be pumped aboard a floating barge capable of holding 70,000 gallons of fuel. The fuel barge is owned and operated by USACE, and annually inspected by the USCG. The fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during the transfer. The transport trucks will be responsible for all transport truck activities, and will have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge. This request for quotes (RFQ) is Full & Open Competition. Firms of any size are invited to submit offers. Quotes must be RECEIVED no later than 3:00 PM (CDT) on Wednesday, May 16 to be considered for award. Quotes must contain UNIT Pricing (Per Gallon). The unit pricing (per gallon) may have no more than three digits behind the decimal point. (Example: $x.xxx is acceptable; $x.xxxx is not acceptable)
