- Description
- Require an end cap made of heat resistant material that will fit over the threaded portion of an M2A1. 50 caliber barrel (chamber end) that is impact and abrasion resistant. This cap must prevent thread damage if the barrel were to be dropped at a 45 degree angle from a minimum of 3 feet high to a max of 10 feet high, with the thread end impacting a concrete/hard or metal surface. additionally the cap must also prevent debris and other foreign matter from entering the barrel, must be heat resistant, and must be constructed in a manner that the cap is not easily knocked off.
