- FA8601-18-Q-0026 Solicitation Document FA8601-18-Q-0026 Statement of Work FA8601-18-Q-0026 Synopsitation Cover This is a combined synopsis/solicitation ("synopsitation" hereafter), which is expected to result in award of a "Firm-Fixed Price" contract for a Laser Fume Extraction System. The synopsitation is prepared in accordance with the provisions in the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsitation is conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of the synopsitation; (2) that receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Techinical Capability evaluation factor; (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluation price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is fair and reasonable. The government reserves the right to award without discussion or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of the proposals received and (2) the price fair and reasonableness of proposal received, and (3) pending availability of funds. **Funds are not presently available; The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.** Solicitation Number: FA8601-18-Q-0026 This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside under North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code: 333413 Size Standard is: 500 Employees.
