- Attachment 2 - ILSS RFI Critical Business Requirements (CBR) Attachment 1- ILSS RFI System Description/Questions Cover Letter - ILSS RFI This is a request for information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will require the acquisition of ILSS described in the Cover Letter of this RFI. The Contracting Officer (CO) does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the RFI and your response. Further, neither CBP nor the Federal Government will be responsible for any contractor costs incurred in providing the requested information contained in this RFI. Contractors responding to the RFI are solely responsible for all expenses associated with their responses. This RFI is conducted solely for the purpose of market research. All information received resulting from this RFI will be used by CBP for acquisition planning and market research purposes only. Information received will be used for CBP internal use only. Please review all attachments. Completing Attachments 1 and 2 is required. Question Submission : Questions regarding this RFI must be submitted NLT 5:00PM EDT on Friday, April 27, 2018 via email to Charlene.M.Bunting@cbp.dhs.gov. Questions received after the NLT date may not be considered. Response Submission : Responses to this RFI are due by 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, May 11, 2018 via email to Charlene.M.Bunting@cbp.dhs.gov.
