Description

The Robley Rex VA Medical Center has a need for a contractor to provide off-site Neurology stroke services to eligible beneficiaries. The Contractor s physicians would provide on-call service 24 hours per day, 365 days per year for Neurology stroke services. Services would be comparable to those provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Society of Neurology. Place of Performance: A hospital within a 20 mile radius of the Robley Rex VAMC, contractor physician must be able to properly manage acute stroke patients, and the contractor physician must have admitting privileges at the local hospital.
