- F1S1AA8103B101 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH Gentex Corporation. The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Gentex Corporation, 9859 7 th Street, Rancho Cucamonga CA 91730, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and the procedures in FAR 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336413. The following will be procured as follows: CLIN 0001 Mask light assembly. Lip Lights attached to the oxygen mask providing a beam of light while night flying. G030-1500-01 40 each CLIN 0002 MIC Assy. M-169A/AIC Mask Light G030-1530-01 15 each CLIN 0003 External Assembly, Mask Light G030-1510-01 15 each CLIN 0004 Extension Mask Light Comm Cord G030-1575-02 30 each The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 27 April 2018, 1:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
