- This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. The VA is seeking information on the following: SMALL BUSINESS MANUFACTURERS of Radiopharmaceuticals MANUFACTURED IN THE UNITED STATES. Small Business distributors of Radiopharmaceuticals. The government intends to enter into a contractor for the purchase of an Radiopharmaceuticals at two (2) Texas facilities. The acquisition will take place under the authority of FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325412 Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing; Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. The following sites require coverage (contractor shall be in close geographic proximity to the facility in order to delivery immediate/high priority items): West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) 300 Veterans Blvd. Big Spring, TX 79720 Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West Amarillo, TX 79106 See attached for listing of Radiopharmaceuticals needed. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability in both or either location must notify the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 PM EST (3:00 PM CST), 04/27/2018. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of equipment that meets or exceeds the capabilities needed. Notification shall be e-mailed or faxed to Jessica Roman, Contract Specialist, jessica.roman@va.gov, fax: 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please note that all items must be new; refurbished or used items will not be accepted. Contractors must be authorized distributors/deals; no grey market items will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
