Description
Expression of Interest Sought THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request is for information only and does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred associated to this request for capability information. The Memphis VAMC is seeking to lease approximately 9,733 NUSF of office space for Administrative Staff in the medical center district, Memphis Shelby County area. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 9,733 square feet of established space for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The lease will be for an existing building space. The space/building shall meet all current building, seismic, and ADA code requirements. A minimum of 65 parking spaces is required with 2 to 4 percent of those spaces closest to the building being designated for use by the physically handicapped. There will be a need for 17 Offices, 37 Cubicles, 1 Conference/Classroom, 1 Break room, 1 Copier/Fax room, 6 Restrooms, and 1 IT closet. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider existing space that complies with all current building, seismic, and ADA code requirements. A lease term up to 10 years will be considered. Delineated Area: Bounded on the North by Union Ave/Walnut Grove, South by Highway 175/ Shelby Drive, East by Germantown Road, and West by Highway 51/Elvis Presley Blvd Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by 3:00pm Central Time, Wednesday, May, 9th 2018 and must include the following information: Building name, address and location of available space Amount of offered space in Rentable Square Feet (RSF) and Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) Building ownership information, brokers or legal representatives must show written acknowledgement and permission to represent the property Lease Contracting Specialist: Marcus Lindsey 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400 Murfreesboro, TN 37129 Email: Marcus.Lindsey2@va.gov
