- The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1940) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract on a sole-source basis to JL Shepherd & Associates of San Fernando, CA (CAGE 29345) for the commercial service described below (see attached Justification and Approval). State and Federal regulations, and the specialized repairs needed for this government owned asset require that the work be performed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). A ll responsible sources may obtain a copy of the Performance work Statement and submit a capability statement to be considered for a ny similar requirements in the future by contacting the Point of Contact person above. No solicitation will be posted on this website for this requirement. (1) National Stock Number - None (2) Specification / Qualification - CLIN 0001 On-Site Service /Repair of JL Shepherd & Associates Gamma Calibrator- Model 81-10 (Qty 1). Location - aboard Marine Corps Logistics Command's Maintenance Center in Barstow, CA. The repairs will require removal and transfer of the radioactive source, maintenance of the source holder, and replacement of the source into the holder. The Gamma Calibrator is used to calibrate USMC Radiation Detecting, Indication, and Computation equipment. (3 ) Manufacturer - JL Shepherd and Associates (Cage Code 29345) (4) Destination information - Marine Corp Logistics Base, Barstow, CA. 92311 (5) Award Procedures - The Government will solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a commercial service with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is no later than 21 March 2018.
