- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the United States Penitentiary (USP) Lee, located in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed outputs. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: Estimated Inpatient Days - 170 days Estimated Outpatient Visits - 825 visits Orthopedic Surgeon - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 26 visits per contract year Dermatologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 12 visits per contract year Neurologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 12 visits per contract year Urologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year General Surgeon - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year ENT Specialist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 12 visits per contract year Gastroenterologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year Cardiologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity is 24 visits per contract year Endocrinologist - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 12 visits per contract year Podiatry - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 12 visits per contract year Ophthalmology - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 12 visits per contract year Pulmonary - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 12 visits per contract year Hematology - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 6 visits per contract year Rheumatology - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 6 visits per contract year Nephrology - visit duration is 4 hours (approximate); visit quantity 6 visits per contract year Oral Surgeon - session duration is 8 hours (approximate); session quantity 32 per contract year Prosthetics/Orthotics - session duration is 4 hours (approximate); session quantity 32 per contract year Mobile MRI - session duration 8 hours; session quantity 6 per contract year Mobile CT - session duration 8 hours; session quantity 6 per contract year Mobile Ultrasound - session duration 8 hours; session quantity 6 per contract year The solicitation will be made available on/or about April 2, 2018, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about June 5, 2018. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
