- This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of Boston Scientific Spinal Stimulator Implants for a Spinal Stimulation procedure on 19 Mar 2018 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instruments Manufacturing. Business size standard for NAICS 339112 is 1000 employees. PSC code: 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies. Delivery Schedule: 19 March 2018 Delivery Destination: Medical Materiel Bldg 830 Area A 4881 Sugar Maple Dr. Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Requirement: It is required that the following items be hand delivered and that the sales representative attend the surgery: QTY Product Classification (1) SC-1132 Pulse Generator (1) SC-5552-1 Externals (1) SC-6412-3 Externals (1) SC-4316 Accessories (1) FB-201-01 Accessories (2) SC-4254 Accessories (1) SC-4276 Accessories (1) SC-8336-50 LEAD The proposed source is Boston Scientific Neuromodulation Corp 25155 Rye Canyon Loop Valencia, CA 91355 This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned Boston Scientific Spinal Stimulator Implants is what the Doctors has determined will best meet the medical needs of this particular patient. The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers.
