- SSA RFI 28321318RI0000035 This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFI is a market survey for informational and planning purposes only, and shall not be construed as a solicitation for bids, proposals or quotes, or as an obligation or commitment by the Government to release a related solicitation or award. The Government may use information gathered as a result of this RFI to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The release of this RFI does not guarantee that the Government will, in the end, complete an acquisition for the products or services described in this RFI. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with providing information in response to this RFI, or any follow-up information requests, or the Government's use of the information. The Government will not notify respondents of the results of any evaluation of the information received. The Government will not return to any information submitted in response to this RFI. No email or telephone calls will be accepted requesting a quote package or solicitation related to this RFI. There is no quote package or solicitation related to this RFI. All interested sources must seek and respond to future solicitation announcements separately from response to this RFI. No phone calls regarding this RFI will be accepted or returned. The Government reserves the right to contact, or not contact, any party responding to this RFI in order to obtain further information for market research purposes. Please reference SSA RFI 28321318RI0000035 when responding to this RFI. Submit response by 03/15/2018, 6:00 PM Eastern. 1. OBJECTIVES The Social Security Administration (SSA) requests information from interested and qualified vendors regarding the current availability of a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), highly specialized, code optimization and error checking utility for development in a Microsoft SharePoint, SPO, and O365 environment. SSA anticipates a need for extensive custom development, scripting, and testing to ensure that data is transitioned into SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Office 365 environments in an operational and secure state. SSA requires a software tool that is the best possible fit for code error checking in a SharePoint Environment, and anticipates use of this software tool for custom code development and scripting for SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2016, Microsoft O365, and SharePoint Enterprise Search. 2.
