Complete RFQ document PROJECT TITLE: Grass mowing/trimming at various locations on the Mount Rogers NRA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This solicitation, identified as 12339518Q0013, is issued as a Request for Quotation using simplified acquisition procedures. Issue date of this combined synopsis/solicitation is March 7, 2018. SET-ASIDE: This solicitation is Total Small-Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 561730; the applicable small business size standard $7.5 million. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Mow and trim grass, weeds and tree and brush sprouts at various locations on the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests in Virginia. GOVERNMENT ESTIMATE: The Government estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 (for Base Year and 2 Option Years combined). This does not mean that our estimate for the price of the work falls anywhere within that range; it means that our estimate is an actual number that lies at a specific point between those two values. SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A pre-quote information meeting/site visit is scheduled on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 9:00 am at the Mount Rogers NRA Office located at 3714 Highway 16, Marion VA 24354. For additional information or directions you may call 276-783-5196. Please call the office to confirm the meeting due to possible weather issues. SUBMIT QUOTATIONS: Complete and return the document titled "Return Set" if you want to quote on this project. Quotes must be received by 3:00 pm March 22, 2018. Any award(s) resulting from this solicitation will be a firm, fixed price contract. SPECIAL NOTE: Successful contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (https://www.acquisition.gov) prior to award of contract.
